On 30th September 2026, Matt attended The Property Care Association Headquarters, in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, for a CPD day. The day’s subject was Resin Repairs to Timber, delivered by Prit and Jason from Repair Care UK, part of Repair Care International.
Repair Care manufactures a range of clean epoxy resins that are designed to provide strong, lasting repairs of joinery timbers. These are typically used where timbers have been exposed to moisture and started to decay, allowing the affected timber to be repaired and kept in service, which can result in significant cost savings and reduced carbon impact over replacement. This type of system can be particularly useful when working on sensitive buildings, such as listed structures or where replacement could result in wider damage being created.
